Logistics Director, David Alegria

We’re excited to have David Alegria join the UXSA team! In January, he signed up as a new leader for our logistical team.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m a goal-driven marketing and communications professional with a passion for digital strategy, project management, and delivering great experiences. I aspire to transition into the world of UX and apply the skills I’ve developed throughout his career in marketing. I thrive through collaborations, creative brainstorming, and challenging myself to think outside the box.

Currently, I’m serving as Communications Manager for the City of San Antonio’s health department. In my spare time, I enjoy running, going on hikes, attending live music events, and volunteering.

What inspired you to volunteer for UXSA?

I joined UXSA because I am looking forward to transitioning into a UX career. I am particularly interested in project management, data analysis, and consultation. I joined the group to engage with other aspiring UX designers as well as experienced professionals and learn more about the field.

The future of UXSA is bright thanks to volunteers like David. We’re grateful to have him on board and look forward to working with him to help other UXers in San Antonio and around the world to connect and grow.
